Luckily I caught it quickly but this could have been pretty bad if I hadn't. Build a wooden frame around it or simply get one of those fabric ropes with the metal tightening latch. The kind they use to tighten boats onto trailors when traveling. I don't know the name of them.
They are called ratchet straps.
 
I used a 50gal rubbermaid. To keep the sides from bowing all I did was tie a rope to two shower hooks. Ghetto yes, but it got the job done.
 
If I were you either get cement blocks or build a wood frame
