If you stick with fish like clowns, royal gramma, fire fish, gobies, shrimps then you would be fine with corals, stay away with damsels cause they are more trouble maker for long term. Most Angle species are none reef safe (miss or hit with drwaft angle species but you don't want to take that slim change). Also, when you setup your tank, try to setup your water condition for reef tank side rather than a lowest setup for fish only tank because these fishes are living right at the coral reef in the wild so if water condition near or match with the reef system they are more happy.
*There are few species you better don't even try to buy for your tank like Madarine Gobies because this species very hard to keep them alive in home aquarium so best just left them in the wild
(The store keep order them if folks keep buying it and the store won't tell you that fish will only last in your tank for couple weeks at most).
