i found a 30 gal tank for a very reasonable price and couldnt resist. i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a fw setup. i was considering going with a few gourami or some kind of smaller predator fish? let me know what you think.

Forgot to mention that it's an Albino Senegal (8")...I hear that they're smaller than the regular Senegal (12").
I doubt it, it is just one different gene. It really won't affect length unless the genes are linked.
You can replace the bichir with an african knife, or Still africa, how abouyt a colony of shelldwellers and a cuckoo cat (Synodontis petricola). SA maybe 2 male andthree female cockatoo cichlids, 5-7 pygmy hatchets, and 20 mixed small tetras. CA 4 male and 3 female pike topminnows and one callicthys callicthys cat. Lots of choices, I just don't have time to run through them right now.
i wasnt looking to put too many fish in it. i was just kinda lookin to have maybe 2-3 main fish in it. and maybe a few smaller ones. but some great suggestions so far. although im not sure what most of these fish are. im gonna have to go google them.
