30 Gallon set up

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i don't know i've got mine in a 30 gal at my friends house in pawtucket cus p's are illegal in Mass. Theres 2 of them at 4in long and i've had no problems yet but i'm gonna upgrade soon.

hey you will probably be ok with it but if you still have to buy the tank oddly enough a 55 gallon tank in most places ive been to is cheaper infact you can buy a55 gal at walmart full set up for dirt cheap but i woul sugjest geting a aditional filter cause u realy cant have to much filtration and a power head to mimic curents in your tank

Its not always the case but they do say you shouldn't keep two pygos together...but i think if you have two from a very early age they'd stand a better chance

is that so

yes is that so

in my experience and plenty others too this is not always the case, i know plenty people who have kept 2 RBP's together with no problems and only changed this when advised it would not work.
it may be something not recommended due to what can happen but it can heppen if you keep 3,4,5 etc ,statements like 'dont post if you dont know what your talking about' dont help people one bit.

post your experience if you have this specific experience, hopefully your not just posting regurgitated stuff you have seen plenty other people with no personal experience post.

there are always variables to situations like this see the post above.

i have 9 red belly ps in a 46 gallon bow front and they dont mess with eachother at all just the pleco i know i need a biger tank im saving up for a 125 gallon long thats curently in use at my lfs

what ive always learned with shoals you should keep 3 or 1 rbp not 2 but he wants 3 so it doesnt even matter but its for aggresion purposes cuz their always gunna be an alpha of the pack that will be bigger until they reach their max size at least thats what ive got from my past experiences
