if i get the 30 gallon ill have a bunch of platys a pair of swords 3 khilio loaches 3 corys ( albino corydoras ) but was wondering i if i was able to have a pink male con as a center piece? or just leave it as a livebearer tank? thats what im thinking of doing anyways but just wanna check

A convict will be fine. That is just a lot of fish for a 30g though. I would just keep the the livebarers and a convict. I keep swordtails with all of my CA cichlids I have owned-firemouth, t. ellioti, a. robersoni, c. salvini, black convict, and HRP.
Hmmm, I think this could be risky.
I'm not very experienced with cons, but I don't think putting any cichlid in with livebearers is a good idea.
If you're looking for a centerpiece, then a good sized silver dollar might serve as a more peaceful alternative.

well i may do my firemouth instead.

12 platys
2 swordtails
1 fancy male gup
8 female feeder gups for the male
3 black khulio loaches
3 albino corys
and 12 ghost shrimps
or just leave it a livebearer tank with the bottom dwellers and just get 2 more corys to make it 5 instead of 3. hmmmmm i got tell the end of this month to decide, i want to breed my livebearers and poss sell some to the petstore. so i may leave out the cichlids. unless theres a cichlid out there that wont mess with frys, like rams?

i think im gunna do what my last post was, plus 2 dwarf frogs. and thats my final stock for a 30 gallon
ok forget the frogs, anywaqys, you all been telling me to get a smaller tank for now tell i have a stable place of my own and a stable job so im gunna try to look for a 30 gallon ( replyed to someone on CL for a 40 gallon thats 3 foot by 1 foot wide by 2 foot high if i get that tank then ill get some angels and try them out and maybe breed them and sell the frys but if not then ill stick to my 30 gallon if i can find one on here.
