I recently picked up a gar and after I got looking at him closer I saw that his jaw it offset,is there anything I can do,does it hurt him an so on?

It would probably be best to start your own thread on this. Pictures would definitely provide more information. The jaw being offset could be from a broken jaw or from a birth defect. I've seen and had both. In any case these tend to be very hardy fish that will usually find a way to still feed. I used to have a Florida that had broken it's bottom jaw took a bit longer but he still ate and grew with the other gars. Same thing with deformed jaws. Just realize the jaw will not fix itself.
