I'll give it a go.

For the record though, I have seen dried up snail eggs stuck in a net hatch after 15 years when reintroduced into water. True story.

now that is a piece of information that I find most helpfull very interesting now to try something :naughty:

I'm trying it again. This time with a higher temperature (87F), lower ph and aquarium rock salt instead of table salt. :grinno: Also I hydrated before adding the salt. If it doesn't work this time I'm giving up.

I'll post the results in about 20 hours.

30 years on the shelf... reminds me of the time I freed a total of over 7GB when I used disk clean up once... I'd be amazed if they hatch...

Lolz...

I think its working!

I woke up this morning to find the temperature at 92F, the vintage heater im using cant hold a reasonable temperature if it tried. However some of the eggs look different. A few eggs (not many) are lighter in color and are no longer round. You can see the darker egg part as well as a lighter clearer part attached to the side of the egg. Hatching brine shrimp? I have no idea what its suppose to look like at this stage 13 hours in, and if I didn't already say it in a previous post, this is my first attempt at hatching brine shrimp. I just discovered them in my dads crawlspace and decided to give it a try.

11 hours to go!
