The most expensive koi was 2.2 million. I guess you are right. The most expensive koi I knew of was $60,000. I am curious, what is the most expensive asian arowana?
Lol, I was just messing with ya. I wonder about the validity of the story about that 2million dollar koi sometimes.
The most expensive Arowana ever sold was rumored to be 600,000 usd and it was the first albino silver arowana known. It was sold to an arowana breeder in singapore. There have been less than a handful of 300,000 usd albino red asian aros sold... if you want to enjoy exclusive first bragging rights you will have to pay the big bucks. In recent years (2016) there was an albino shortbodied 'king' red asian aro that was sold for 180k usd. Nowadays an albino red asian aro will run you south of 20k in the Asian marketplace.
You went to BCA last month right? Do they still have the albino aro at the entrance in the big tank?
I don’t remember going last month cause of my O level exams. The last time I went was probably 3-4 months ago and yes, I’m quite sure I remembered seeming the albino arowana, magnificent piece.
