I haven't been on much for about a week, and below is the reason. I found a steal on an acrylic 300... or so I thought. I never had acrylic before and figured $300 for this tank wasn't bad. Well, 2 weeks later I'm only on Novus #2 (which works miracles). I've been busy every night and both weekends. Also a DIY stand.

After a simple hose down...

Inside polishing and removing all of the scratches that I couldn't see without water... PITA:cry:

Next is the filter and finishing the stand. This stuff we do for our fish...:grinno:

Keep buffing haha what a pain in the ass but well worth it
Have/do you ever go to something fishy in Ohio?

Keep up the good work. Whats going in there?

1 mono, 1 silver arowana, 1 clown knife. Eventually will be adding kelberi and orino once they grow out.

Great Pics! Polish away! Who plays the drums?

I do, and the kit you see is my son's. I just stopped playing professionally last September.

I have only ever been to Ohio to perform... What's special about Something Fishy?

I've been there. Buffing out scratches is such a pain in the butt. After I finished my 240 I swore I would never buy a used/scratched tank again. Are you planning on reinforcing the top where it appears to have a missing/broken brace?

Carefull!! It looks as thought he Novus is eating away at your pant legs. LOL

Keep up the buffing. Wax on. Wax off.

thats an awsome find. hope you can get all the scratces out. doesn't look like fun.

I am going to just clean up the cuts since the overflow is there acting as the support.

Wow. keep it up bro. Where did you get the Merman?

Believe it or not, he grew out of the remaining substrate when I added water! Fat little bugger isn't he?:D
