I wonders how many days or hours you spent buffing that tank???

Seemed like an eternity at the time!

Here are some updates to the tank. Filled and running for 1 day. I believe I was lucky and was able to get all of the scratches out.

There still some residue on the front at the bottom that I have to remove. The water is cloudy from all of the Novus junk. I'll do water changes over the next week to remove as much as possible.

Good job! :headbang2:headbang2:headbang2

outstanding work!!! how did you get your big self inside such a small opening? Can you give us a couple more shot of the sump and its content?

keep us posted. $300 and a little elbow grease is a steal.

Good progress, keep going at the re-buffing, it will be worth it in the end

I did a lot of sucking in...too bad my butt wouldn't deflate like my stomach did! I barely fit... and I mean barely.

Here's some more shots of the sumps. I'm really happy with the design, and believe it's going to work well.

Thanks. I'm hoping to get some substrate and diy driftwood in this tank this weekend. I'll keep updating pics.
