300 gal Geo tank update

Well i changed out all the Black Estes sand over the weekend and went with 200lbs of Lapis Luster.. I think the lighter color helped my photography too..lol

Yea I was pretty shocked how much of a difference the sand made on the color of the fish, they lightened up and now the red really comes out. The black sand was great for my rays but def not as good for my fish. Very happy I made the change.
 
Thanks.. I just hope it makes it.. It stopped eating almost 2 months ago and hasn't touched a bite of food..:cry: I bought him over a year ago and he was at 30" then, not sure how big he is now..:eek:
