The economy finally turned for me now I can get my dream tank! Would like 300gal or slightly larger, glass, sturdy tops with stand, only a few years old. No fish please unless pbass or something rare. Pay cash, will drive a ways for the right deal. PM if serious about selling. Let me know what you guys have out there!!

a 300 gallon made of glass would be extremely heavy and would take a fork lift to move!
a tank that big is most likely going to be made of acrylic and at least 3/4 in thick. good luck on the search. I get mines soon. a 300 gallon too. ;)

Too bad you are so far away. I have a nice 540 up for grabs.

I have seen plenty of glass ones even bigger, its just that so many people have talked bad about acrylic to me...I am still open to it for the right deal, just seems any used one already has holes drilled, major scratches, etc. Like I said if ya see a deal or have something good out there let me know. The sooner I can get my big tank the better!!

Shouldn't be heavy. 4 people will be fine. Took just 2 people to lift and move my 210. 1/2 in thick glass.

ya you intrested in a 300 gallon acurlic complete with stand canopy an a 125 gallon sump 2500,carry stand an canopy show quality

im not saying its impossible. im saying it would be heavy as hell. i was being sarcastic about the fork lift.

for a 300 gallon i would prefer acrylic over glass for many reasons. unless the glass is starphire.

no offense to anyone. its just personal preference. i don't have anything against glass tanks. I've owned many glass tanks but for a 300 gallon i would have to go with acrylic.

Dude just moved my 210 to my friends garage and I second that F... that mother was heavy. Especially going up the stairs.
