You did a good job Justin. Sorry I didn't get back to you, but my daughter has had my phone all weekend in Yakima...she just finally returned it to me and I am reading your texts right now. Did you get the sump finished? I need to make some mods to my 460..that Fu*&%ng overflow noise is driving me crazy! I have an idea, but want to run it by you first and also, I will need your help.

Thanks Damien. I knew you had to be busy or you would have swung by. I didn't get the sump started today, I finished the 55g with the cherrywood instead. Text me and I'll help with the overflows when ever your ready.

Looks good.

If you are going to paint it. Go with oak plywood. It is cheaper and still shows a great grain pattern.

Has anyone figured the cost of using pre-finished paneling or lamanate/hardwood flooring to skin their cabinet?

Most of the pre-finished paneling that I have seen is generally backed with wafer board or something similar. Typically, these are not super resistant to water. They would tend to soak it up rather than repel it. In the long term, they might lead to problems, but don't see why you couldn't do it if you are careful with your WCs.
