300 Gallon acrylic tank water not level

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have a 1.5" difference from one end to the other in my 100g. I's just sitting on a work bench in the garage with no pad. I would imagine it depends on what you have your tank sitting and if said apparatus is also uneven.

what about from the front of the tank to the back?
if the left side is level front to back you are okay.

what you really need to avoid is twisting. if

Is it your floor or the stand?

How long has this tank been set up? Glass or acrylic?

It's acrylic. Bought it using craigslist...I have had it set up for a few months now I guess. The previous owner had it set up for years in one of his classrooms I think he said.

Anyway, the water level is uneven because of the bench it sits on. As long as the tank is not bending or twisting in anyway that it shouldn't be, then you should be fine. You can always try and level the stand next time you change water.

That was the first thing I was concerned with. The levels on the right and left for the front and back are the same so there is no twisting.

If the water is not level, just drain it and fill it with level water. That should do it. :D
