I have a 1.5" difference from one end to the other in my 100g. I's just sitting on a work bench in the garage with no pad. I would imagine it depends on what you have your tank sitting and if said apparatus is also uneven.

I thought mine was bad .25, 1.5 would drive me crazy.

If the water is not level, just drain it and fill it with level water. That should do it. :D

If only it were that easy.

A buddy of mine, who built the stand for for free me, quite a guy, suggested using a floor jack to pop up the left side of tank with the elevated water level. Once we get the tank level, we use longer 2x4's to stabalize the tank levelng it. This sounds to me like a brilliant solution but it does seem to have a risk.
What do you think?

I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot... ...2x4.

Drain the tank before you do anything. And by saying you are going to use longer 2x4's, something is missing in that description as to why it would help.

Ooooooo....somebody didn't read the thread
No I just ignore some things. Like selective hearing except reading.

Actually I just scanned tho\rough it. I just missed your little comment thats all.

So does anyone think this is a good idea?

I just checked my ammonia levels and they were at .50. I added 6 capfuls of prime. I hoped this wouldn't of happened as I tried to retain my bacteria levels but the bios balls sat overnight in it's own water and I'm afraid the water temp dipped too low. Any advice as this is my first marine tank.
