I'm looking at purchasing a used 300 gallon aquarium I found on FB Marketplace... Posting a picture of the corner of the tank to see if this should be something to be concerned with?

It looks like the edge has some bubbles... Not sure if this is a flaw from the manufacturing process or if this is a sign that the tank wasn't sitting on a completely flat surface?

Only one way to find out, have the owner water test it before you buy it

Looks like acrylic tank seam separation to me. Weldon 40 or 1/2 cast acrylic rods will do the trick

I would say light "Crazing" ive boughten in worse conditions however smaller tank size.
remember the height plays a huge difference in amount of pressure the water puts on the seams.
So the taller the tank+gallon size contributes to more pressure at the seams.

I ended up passing on the deal... I did a bunch of reading online regarding how to repair seams and it just seemed like more hassle than it was worth... Weldon 40 can potentially weaken the seam and the idea of attaching acrylic rods doesn't sound like a whole lot of fun either. Drop $1,400 on a tank only to mess it up... no thanks.

If I had done it many times before that would be one thing but lacking experience just makes me to nervous to attempt.
