The deal is for the tank, sump, light, and heaters... It does have tops. He was nice enough to send me a couple videos showing the seams of the front left and right side.

I have read that using Weldon 40 on the seams can possibly weaken the seam? I wish I could find a YouTube video of someone fixing seams of an acrylic tank using Weldon 40...

Here are the videos:

If your in so cal
I’ve come across a brand new 325 gallon
8x2x3 the Guy is asking $1450
Tanks still wrapped pm me if your local I can send you the info

I am located west side of Michigan. That is a very good price for a tank of that size but sadly it's not the dimensions I want.

1400 for a 300g used tank is way too much anyway. Offer half if it’s got tops and a stand. And re glue it. It’s not a bad job
Tell that to the nyc/no ppl on this forum selling used acrylic tanks for over a grand

I wasn't comfortable with a bunch of things regarding that tank... half inch thickness just doesn't seem like proper thickness for a 300 gallon tank.

I am just going to buy a new tank for peace of mind and get 3/4 inch thickness for the walls.

I've been looking around and received a couple quotes... I would love to find a reputable company that is within a few hours driving distance of Grand Rapids Michigan that has fair pricing... any recommendations?

Try contacting Steve at http://www.aquaticasuperstore.com/, as he builds tanks at his store. It’s worth a trip to his store if you’re in the area.
