300 gallon catfish

Lots of great ideas, just need to find the cat and get everything cycled.
My other future tank mates will be...

black arowana, vieja argentea (biggest wish list) p. bass

Will any of these cats not be a good mix with the above tank mates?

Argentea absolutely hate fish that are similar in color. Im not saying it wont work. Thats a big tank but my argentea was a mean littl3 s.o.b...much smaller tank though.

A few other members as well as myself feel that they are slow growers not sure how that would mix with some faster growing cats

Never heard that about them before, but my main goal was to try and get fish that didn't look similar so everyone would stick out.
So far most of the catfish would be some what similar to the argentea.

I like this suggestion. Very slow grower. Swims much less than an average cat. Usually gets stuck at ~1.5'.
