If it were me, in that size tank I would have no more than 2 males and a number of females, in a harem type situation.
And because it was a display tank, I'd want geographically correct tank mates, which would negate South American species like Silver Dollars.
Geographically correct tetras would be Astyanax, although they are very aggressive, ao (if it were me ) I'd stick to shoals of sailfin mollies like P velifora (in the Eden Video), or Gambusia yucatana (in Cristalino)
If that geographically correct idea doesn't matter to you, then "que sera sera".
