300 Gallon Open Top Tank???

I made this for my 265 which is working well but the acrylic is sagging a bit works great except that. i'm hoping it stops sagging where it is now.

I suggest you use sliding glass lids instead of hinged. You can slide the front lids under the back lids which is ample for most maintenance. You just need some plastic sliders (you can buy a special plastic trim profile). Do make sure the lids are all cut to the same size as otherwise you will always have to match specific lids for specific sections.

If you are getting tank busters or large jumpers, I suggest you get 10mm or 12mm thick lids.

Another suggestion is to drill a 40mm feeding hole for frequent feeding.

This set up looks very neat! Thank you for the information... I am going to have a carpenter friend of mine have a look at something like this. When it comes to building to perfection, I am all thumbs!

I am going to look at a combination of what has been suggested here.

I also really like the idea of a frequent feeding access hole!
