To grow in? It'll be perfect. But eventually you'll need to go bigger in terms of width,but u have a good couple years.

You will be fine as long it's not a temensis. They are monsters. Besides most people around here jam their big fish in 180s. Just don't pack it full of fish and keep up on water changes as bass are messy. Also run a good filtration setup
 
I would prefer 30-36" deep, long term.

Shoot, I'd say 36-48" but not all uf us can do that atm lol.

OP its good for a couple years. For anything past that, like bassguy said, 36" would be better.

I think I'm gonna cancel the order, and get a 500 96x24x48... Does that work much better?

When u say 48" are u talking top to bottom, or front to back? If u mean 48" front to back, that would be perfect. That u can definitely use for life.
