Long time no update. I've been really busy with all of the tedious stuff--teflon taping my connections, cementing those without threading, etc.

Today was a good day. My 3-d background arrived!! I just finished cutting all of the pieces I will be using, and am about to silicone them in. My girlfriend was kind enough to assist in the cutting process.

These pictures don't do it much justice. I'm really satisfied with it.

That background is killer! The new guys arent your t. Gars are they? I never noticed your sleeve in that one pic but it looks like a nice piece of ink!

Tropical gar is correct :p

Since you asked, here's the sleeve. Work is by Eric Thrice at Southern Star in little five points in Atlanta. CAM04787.jpgCAM04794.jpgCAM04801.jpgCAM04802.jpg

Cody: Thanks man, just make sure you shop around for the right artist! I would definitely recommend a trop. They look incredible, and are very personable. Better hurry though--only a limited number left. Might be years before they come around again.

Joe: Thanks a ton! My girlfriend and I have worked pretty hard on it. Needs more houseplants :p

I'll be posting everything about the filtration soon enough. Its all here, just needs to be assembled. Primary filtration is going to be a k1 moving bed for bio with filter socks and floss for my mechanical. Give me a few days to get it all together. I need to slightly mod the stand before I can set the sump up.

Another shot of the background. I'm beat and I still have some writing to take care of. I'll be attaching it tomorrow.CAM04805.jpg
