300 gallon set up

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks man! Pick one up if you can house it. They're great fish :D

I'm going to nab some egg crate and more pothos today. The filter destroyed ammonia during week one, but nitrates rose to 50ppm. This is mostly because a bunch of talapia got hung up in my plants and escaped my notice. It had fully rotted when I found it. Not bad at all. I did a 75% water change last night. Stock didn't get too stressed--even at 25%, the footprint provides them with plenty of room to rove.

I sure will! Hopefully I can get started on the stand in the next week or so. Might rescape it this week. Im prepping more pothos right now. :D

More pics. Figured out a simple way to dim the t-5 for photos. The p. congicus is still extremely pale from the transfer. Hasn't been eating much either. Im going to give it a few weeks, then add more black sand in with the garnet. CAM05842.jpg CAM05856.jpg CAM05914.jpg CAM05815.jpg

Update video of the filtration is in the works. Picked up everything I need to better distribute the air in my k1 bed. Planning on assembling it all this week.
