300 gallon stock tank

For a 300 gallon tank I would use 4 300w heater spaced out

But do they use 300w all the time?

Every time they come on they pull in around 300w.

I have a 300 gallon rubbermaid stock tank in my basement with just one 300watt heater and it stays at 80. let me know if you have questions about setting it up. Im not sure putting a sturgeon in it is a good idea they will eventually need more room I have a small Siberian in a tank now and they really need a lot of room to swim around he will need his own specially built pond. I also have videos of my pond in some of my threads if you want to check them out for ideas.

Dang, and I complain about my 250w heater in my sump heating my 300. Keeps me at 80. Guess I should quit whining
