300 Gallon update w/ new Xingu

This will be the last update with the background. The fish and rays are getting too big for it and I want to redo the filtration as well and it is really hard since the tank is not drilled and its hard to run pvc around the background. After vacation I will take it out and paint the back wall, bottom and half of both sides black. The overflow will be painted black and I will have some sand in there.


Question? Is it bad to spray paint the INSIDE of the tank. I cant lift this to paint it and I cant get behind it either without moving it. Is it bad to spray paint in the tank? What is the best method there?

Oh,I see.That's almost public aquarium grade.
 
dont spray in the tank. can you slide some blk paper or something similar behind the tank?
