R1. Thanks for the good words. Glad I could help. You will love it. The fish everyone is asking about is a yellow perch. Pretty common northern fish. But has adapted to the warm water very nicely. He is one of the more aggressive fish in my tank. He takes shrimp and earthworms straight from inside the snooks mouth. The bass on top in the second pic is an Occellaris.

The background came with the tank. Bought it off craigslist and had it delivered to my door

Very cool tank and fish. I like it. I wasn't so sure I liked the way the background was lifted up, but seeing how the fish like, it I like it.

The kelberi was given to me a bit smaller than you see him there. The other two were raised since juvies yes

A store I recently visited has one of those perches in a tank full of fish they are selling.I asked the guy what it was and he told me that it was a perch but was not allowed to sell it due to state law.....I did'nt bother to ask him why it was in a tank with fish that were to be sold.......I think I saw and complimented on your tank on another thread but so what,it's beautiful.
