damn thats intense. I use to live in DC, i wish i still lived there, would go fishing ALL the time

that is not good. i cant imgine what would happen if they spread else where.

large mouth bass are introduced specie found across the north america, and they're in no threat of being endangered.

Snakeheads coexist with other bass type fish in other countries, and if targeted for sport and food, probably would not proliferate. These fish and game officials should go overseas to learn about them, where they are purposely introduced, yet still scarce to catch, espeically at a large size.

I don't condone releasing "exotic" fish into native waters, however, I believe fish and game will make, yet another mistake trying to control the "frankenstein" fish as reported, by introducing something else.

Its always been the scientists who jacked up, like the africanized bees, grass carp in the midwest, etc...then they introduced these sculpins in the great lakes to eat the zebra mussels, but in turn ate trout eggs, etc....

15 min from my house... will get some when the weather get abit warmer.....

why would they mind? the article itself said that the only way to control it right now is by people fishing them out.
