we had a problem with pirahna being found in a local area here in canada a few years back still wondering if it was a hoax though wouldnt suprise me if they adapted to the cold somehow

yeah, you'd think they wouldn't but you know fish and game.i guess as long as they're dead they can leave the area, people are allowed to eat 'em. but i've read a few more articles lately and somebody's always being quoted at the end of the interview saying, "snakeheads are illegal to possess in the U.S." i know how picky fish and game are. i used to own a lfs and had some red ear sliders well over 4" and a wildlife officer came in one day, saw the turtles, and told me i had to pit tag all of them and buy a reader, it was gonna cost me like $20- $25 pet turtle, not to mention what i already had in them. so i gave 'em away. they weren't even locally collected.
 
overall they can't do anything about the problem. Snakeheads always wins. they will prevail. I knew it’s awful but what can we do about it now that the damage is done. afterall, the article did said that snakeheads were tasty. :spam:
