300 Update - Amphilophus Pics

So far so good - I've had them for three months and they are all growing and doing well - even the Chancho has gotten an appetite recently and started to grow. I imagine it won't be too long before I need to move a few of these guys. The Amarillo has gone from being the aggressor to timid, so I will have to watch him.

Lots of change:
Amarillo did not play well w/ others - he is alone in a 75
Barred Midas is in a 135 w/ his new girl
Midas is top dog in the 300
Chancho is in the 300 - not fully convinced it is a male
Trimac was paired up and sold due to space - didn't pick fights in the 300, except during feeding, but he sure knew how to finish fights - pics are of the male before I sold him

Man.....I really like that Amarillo.

I have a psycho Trimac, too -- kills for fun, goes from 0-90 in half a second, not a "community" fish at all.

Update of the Amphilophus in the 300 and a few of their friends - Amphs shown in the following order, Amarillo, Barred Midas, Chancho, Creamsicle, the parachromis is a female Freddy and the cat is a featherfin squeaker. Everyone gets along for the most part, except for the Amarillo, who is a total tool. The barred midas (by far the biggest fish in the tank) keeps him in check though, and is a gentle ruler.
