300 Update - Amphilophus Pics

Do you see differences in the aggressiveness of the barred Midas compared to the red Midas?
Not too much - the barred Midas earned the name Puppy Dog from an early age - he is a gentle giant. The creamsicle is a little more aggressive, but not really bad at all. Almost all aggression in my tank comes from the Amarillo - he has been a jerk for a long time. I have taken him out twice before and he pouts in the corner of his 75 - never hangs glass at all. I put him back in the 300 and he gets destroyed, not because others pick on him, but because he starts fights with everyone and will not back down. If it were not for my barred Midas hating conflict and driving him to the other side of the tank, the other Cichlids would take a beating.

An update on the 300 - no only male Amphs + a curvier bicher and a featherfin squeaker cat. The 3 big boys in order of pics below are the barred midas, chancho and creamsicle midas. I love the creamsicle color, but wish he had more of a nuchal hump. The other Amphs are a jouvie chancho and 3 barred midas (sons of the barred in the pic) but they all have peeled, even thought heir mother was barred as well. The smaller one is Rudolph, per the kids - his nose has not fully peeled, and he is is smallest - so sometimes he doesn't get to play in all of the Amph games :-) I have a male Amarillo that is in time out, after killing my large 10.5" female festae. After that, I took all the girls out, and put him in time out. I will try to reintroduce him after the Holiday break - but I may have to get rid of him, as he does not seem to play well w/ others.
