300 watts heater for 54 gallon?

Sometimes the degree setting on a heater can be off, my well-used Ebo Jager has to be set at 86 for it to run at 80. Best bet would be to buy a digital term. and slowly work your way up to the desired temperture.
 
I have one of those Jebo heaters came with the tank so i hope it does the job
 
so i set the heater up few hours ago and the temp is still only 62F and the heater is set to 78F
