Is that a small leak where the water is pushing through the concrete?

Ah. Hmmm, I'm not sure but the eel certainly seems snackable. I'd be really surprised, though, if it messes with the rays; but I'm no expert.
I'll be transferring my 26" RTC to an indoor pond with large CA/SA cichlids. From the threads I've seen, if the RTC is well-fed it's not usually a problem.
I say out with the eel. Keep the RTC!

I love all my fish bro. The eel was a gift from my gf, so i consider it special. all my fish are well fed trust me, they eat even better than me lol!! so i'm kinda in a dilemma in what to do...

HA! I know what you mean. I have a freezer full of shrimp and frozen fish that aren't even for me! Well, yeah, if it was a gift then you've got a tough call to make. The eel could definitely fit in its mouth- and I've heard of RTCs eating things almost as long as themselves or having a tail sticking out its mouth until it could digest enough to get it down. If it is well-fed it's less likely, but there's always a chance. I seriously doubt the rays are really in any danger though. I don't see them fitting in its mouth. Now, if there was a big reef-like rock pile that the eel could hide in I'd say the two could live together in harmony.

Also, just thought of this, JohnPTC, arapaimag, and some others have/had RTCs (and other large cats) in their large enclosures with cichlids, etc. Maybe ask them what their experience has been.

Congrats and good job! It looks great.
