How much does the average 300 gallon glass aquarium weigh? The reason I ask is I am hopefully picking one up this weekend. Will two men be able to load it into the back of a truck.

if its glass its doubtful.
my Aqueon 150g tank is 281 pounds which can be done with two people if they are very strong and used to living ackward heavy objects (but 4 is better)
so, a 300g weighs considerably more. so I would bring more help.

anyone know a specific weight? or close too...I think it might be possible, me and my wife moved my 125...my wife weighs like 105 pounds.lol.
I cant give you the weight,but the guy you may buy the tank from bought the 210 from me a few years ago.
Hes not a very big dude,but strong as an ox.he & his buddy carried the 210 up from my basement.

ok cool, thanks for the help guys. I'll have to fund a third man and maybe a fourth. Oh and BTW I wasn't going to make my wife help move this one...lol. just so everyone knows.
its amazing how much the weight of tanks go up as the glass thickness goes up.
eg. the 150g that i have is like a 125g but 6" taller. because the whole tank is made of thicker glass, the weight is over 100 pounds more than a standard 125. thats a lot considering the tanks is empty lol
