GE silicone is good for sealing things such as the final seal in the corner. It is very soft and pliable when cured. However, it is not very good as a glue. I have a long breeder tank that was glued together using a very soft silicone rubber. The tank is not the least bit rigid and twists during handling. To glue panels together, a stiff/firm silicone should be used. Unfortunately, I do not know the brand of silicone used to make the breeder tank.
