How low of a grit would you go? Most vids and posts only go as far as 1000.
That’s because people can ruin tanks going lower if they aren’t patient and careful. Pressure is more and more potentially damaging the lower get you go. It also makes evenly sanding with higher grit more important. Just depends on comfort, skill and how much it bugs ya. I have a current build thread of the same size tank and took it down to 600 if memory serves correct.

99% of people should probably stick to 1k/2k.

Lol, well I'll just live with these scratches then!

Peeling the paper off and this is the inside of the bottom panel and why I don't use same or crushed coral in acrylic tanks.IMG_20180718_204448.jpg

Was almost done buffing but the battery died on my drill so I'll have to finish tonight. I did get my air pump in the mail though was very excited to give it a try but

It didn't come with a plug lol

Amazon didn't have the brand name just a generic picture so it was hard to look up but it's 80/lpm and it was only $60.

Once I get it wired I'll let you guys know how well it works

I'm back. Sorry for the delay, I've had several projects going. I just finished sanding and polishing the inside front or so I thought.

Ignoring the mess on the back panel(and the graffiti) from this angle it looks nice. But after wiping down the front multiple times you can see streaks from the sander.

I'm guessing Novus 3 then 2 again? JK47 JK47

Yeah #3 and #2 should smooth that out. If not you can try wet sanding with 3000. Sometimes if I get haze (buffing on hot day for example) I’ll go over it wet sand with 3000 and straight to #2.

That’s served me well on swirls and haze.
