300g tank for $300?!

The problem is that you said it would take all your money to get it, but it sounds like it needs some serious work and a lot of extras that you won't have the budget for (pumps, plumbing, sump, heaters, lights, etc.).

I know this is sacrilege (who on MFK WOULDN'T want a 300??!!), but what about picking it up, resealing it and cleaning it up, then selling it back on craigslist for $1000? Then you could pick up a 180 with all the gear and still have all the money you'd need to get it working like you want AND you new CD player?

Well that's just all that my parents are willing to pay for my present this year I will be getting some more money from relatives and can always wait till i start getting paid from my new job and save up for everything needed with the tank or just wait untill the next holiday. I would love an aro or a RTC.
