Filters: Marineland c530, 2 Emperor 400s

Not sure what fish exactly but im leaning towards fish that will go with my salvini and jaguar and green terror.

I've been looking into parachromis loisellei, (Trimac or midas) , Vieja Argentea/Synspilum

Any input would be appreciated (ps: This sites making me a fish nut! :nilly:)
 
in a big tank like that you could probably do just about any other kind of cichlid except for large dovii. go crazy ;)
 
looks like a cuban with a festae or uropthalmus behind
 
personally i would go for cuban,grammodes,red tiger mota,vieja species etc stay clear of midas or trimac in a community although i have seen it done it all depends on the individual fish and you need a back-up plan in case it goes wrong,i have personally kept a salvini with a jag before and she was attacked quite badly this was in a 125 uk gal tank,you may get away with it in your size tank as long as there are plenty of smaller hiding places,all the best Paul
 
How many fish could i keep in there do you think? I want little confrontation , i dont want them always fighting and me losing fish.

I think i want Loisellei(less aggressive then RTM, argentea, may try a single red devil, are the white with red someone a rarity for red devils? I saw a white one with the deepest red on it looks amazing. If it doesn't work i could have it in a single species tank. Red devils aren't quite as insane as the midas/trimacs from what i read.
 
any other takes on this? This tank should be here soon so id like to have somewhat of an idea on what to get and how many. Never owned a tank quite this big so anyone out there with large tanks your input would be great thanks.
