i just spent my time reading like the whole thread. and im in a simular situation. got a shop in my house.. but my problem is sealing the tank and the glass.. i seen what u are sealling with and i have the same exact calck so im happy... but what is the price gana b for a peace off glass for it? if u dont mind me asking or r u just gana use one from the shop?

For 1/2" glass in the size I need of 71 x 29 it is gonna be about 210 from my local suppliers.
few more days till you test the sump right. you getting anxious I can't wait to see it holding some h2o

Not to long. I think it will be successful. My little cardboard box held water till it unfolded. Then I floated it in water and the paint held it together. The paper came apart but the rubber held solid.

yah i planed on getting a gallon or 2 of the rubber stuff they use for koi ponds.. its basicallly the same stuff your using just diffrent brand.. but im building a tank that is allmost the same size as urs mines a like 310g
. how much sealent should i get? im doing a 75g sump glass so i dont have 2 worry about sealing that. and thankx
