I don't think it will bother. They have other types. This is just the only one I could get easily. I tested the water for chlorine when I first filled it and two days after that and got nothing. 0. Also chlorine evaporates quickly which is why you have to continuously add it to pools.

Well, If your anywhere near New Orleans then probably a good idea to drop him a line. He seems very knowledgeable and is involved with a lot of stuff in that area.

Not a mark. i can scratch at it myself and not make a mark on it. I'm not gonna temp the corners but anywhere on the wood surface is very tough.
