IMHO, I would put a bristlenose pleco in with a medium bagrid and opaline gourami.
Or a frogmouth cat, THAT would be unique AND awesome!

you could also do butis butis,nandus nandus (or any other leaffish),pikeheads,and there are many other mini-ambush-predators to choose from.
or a school of 30 exodons.
