I have a 32" Niger Cat that I need to find a home for $75.00. Pick up only in Staten Island, NY. Should be fun getting him out I just need to get a larger net to get him out (hopefully).

Heads up that my when I moved my 22-24" niger cats, they shredded my good net. I'm not filled with great advice on how to move them, but just a bit of 'I probably wouldn't do this again' info. G/L on your sale! :)

use bucket to corral them into buckets or piece of PVC pipes-

I dont dare to use any nets on the big cats

Get a tarp and put it in the tank when he floats over it lift...

i could be wrong but sounds like a good idea.

its 32 inches how does that fit into a pvc?
here is how i moved my huge beast(42 inches)i had a friend use a cod net and put his head in the net and lifted him up.I then grabbed his tail with a beach towel and on three we flipped him out into a huge rubber maid. The entire room was soaked as well as myself. The cod net was destroyed, the acrylic tank got all scratched,as well as my arms.Good luck,be careful.

This is why even though I've never met you, I already love you! :) I thought I was the only giant catfish tackling chica out there!

I started thinking that maybe a drilled plastic storage tub might work the best, especially if you could convince the catfish it is a good hiding spot. For these guys I'd probably keep all the holes on the bottom of the tub to keep their hooks from getting caught in the sides.

just get a huge towel and get 2 peoplee to cover him and carry him out in

I "netted" my large cats with pvc/plastic laundry hampers. They stand up to catfish abuse and drain water quickly. I've shipped large spiny cats in plastic bags by keeping them in the laundry hampers during shipping. The basket's holes/slots dramatically cut down the cats abilities to puncture/slice the plastic bags to shreds.
