I wouldn't put jurupari's in with brasiliensis or heckelii, both are too aggressive for them. I go with Geophagus altifrons instead, they get larger and have are more assertive. I would think they can hang with the others.

Remember brasiliensis and heckelli will form pairs, might have to remove some once they do even with that tank size. I'd drop the number of brasiliensis and increase the group of altifrons.

Also slip the bolivians. They would do fine with altifrons or juruparis, but deffinately not with the brasiliensis.

okay, insted of the bolivians maby like a pair or two of festivums? would that work. so doing 6 brasiliensis, 6 heckilli, and then 12 altifrons. I also lilke the look of Geophagus Steindachneri, could i ft maby a already formed pair of them so i wouldn't have to worry about cross breeding? Also will i be able to plant this tank? i was htinking some floating plants like lilly pads, then java fern, java moss, anubis, and amozonian swords.
