33 dollars, 1 hour = stand for a 150 gallon.

Liquid nails? Your trusting the weight of a 150 gal tank half full of water to liquid nails?
I don't think that's a wise decision... You didn't use any actual hardware?

Just to be clear, liquid nails are used in the construction of houses...hundreds of thousands of pounds and more. Your concern doesn't make any sense to me. At the same time the stand weight transfer is shown to not rely on any fastener. Flexing does but the over redundancy of liquid nails and screws will take care of that. Though tbh I'd like to see more bracing on the bottom, the stand will work as it sits.

and also Just to be clear, having done a few projects yourself is nowhere near equal to being an engineer so criticize lightly (constructively) and without arrogance or any implied insults. That's not to say you didn't, it's just to get that out there. It's far too easy to criticize online.

looks great!!! i personally don't believe its overkill not when your looking to hold a water filled tank in your house. Your stand could hold a hell of a lot more wait with how you supported the top brace with the 2x4. job well done!!
