If you read my pervious posts I stated that there are members on here who own 24-26" tigs. Planet catfishes measurements tend to a little smaller then the actual size.

I have personally seen this fish, it is at least 36" and Pat is a reputable seller. You just have to figure out where to put it if you buy it :)
 
Can't help on age, I can tell you it was 24" a year ago.

So, it should not be old at all, rather young then. Excellent. Do you think it has grown so (unusually?) large and fast because of the hugeness of its enclosure - a 21'x8' vat?
