$350 for an EBJD?

Overprices is a subjective term. Its really about how much you are willing to pay for something. That said, I do find that EBJDs are usually extremely expensive for what you get.
As far as the ad you link to, is that 350 for just the one fish or for all of them? I think 350 bucks is too expensive in either case.

Fish in picture don't look like 7"
Yes if they were all EBJD than maybe it's worth it considering the male shown is supposedly 7" but like bigspizz already stated can't trust claim of EBJD gene, especially with him saying he got those from another person instead of breeding himself.

I think most breeders value the Blue Genes more so than the Actual blues themselves. But unless its someone reputable, you could get ripped off as bigspizz stated, standard jacks look the same as blue genes. I have seen a breeding pair of blue gene jacks sell for over $200 bucks.
I just had an offer for mine... this is crazy... he offered me $200 and 20 EBJD babies for mine.

Ha!, I think your wife and my wife are on opposite ends of the spectrum! Awesome looking blue by the way. You thought about breeding him/her? It Could make some awesome blue gene fry.
