Looks very cool. Those 3d backgrounds make such a huge difference in how the tank looks.

Will probably go with Gage, John, Don or Jeff. I'm not going to get them out of a store if I can help it.

ive had a good experience with a female from don, wish i had kept my old pair and got them their own tank! good luck mate, at least you are going the right way about it keeping them alone. lets just hope you get some with good character and dont get bored with them... i think that will be the biggest issue keeping only two fish in such a large tank will feel wasted at times. just be sure its what you want!-)

This is a very good thought and it's something that I've thought long and hard about. When I first got the 350 last year I was going to turn it into a large solo/pair tank and opted not to for that reason. I didn't want to have that large of a tank for just 1-2 fish, however now that I'll be able to have other tanks (because of a fish room) then I can still have my ca/sa communities AND a large single fish aquarium.

If the fishroom falls thru (this is life with a family move, you never know sometimes) then I doubt I'll opt in for the dovii tank. After all, i am taking those fish listed in the first post with me.

it shouldnt look that small when the male gets over 22" the female 14" then all of their offspring swimming around there too. going to look amazing keep us posted!

I was just fixing to order some finnex leds to put on the tank and wanted some opinions. Would 2 monster ray II's and one monster ray high color be to much? I'm thinking of mounting them about 6" off tank and either going with 2x36" on length of tank 2x48". There will be no plants in this dovii tank and I don't want to much light for algae either.

That listing is close to me. Wish I could get this. I love your setup. Good luck.
Just wanted to be sure someone wasn't posting your setup clamming it was theirs.
