Thank you....got some chocolates, pearsei and a bocourti coming in from gage and going to move the balzani to the 75 for a cold water.

Yea, me too. I love that thing...where'd you get it? I need one. And what kind of lighting do you have on top of it? It looks like very bright sunlight, like a bright sunny day early in the afternoon. Gives the tank a very bright and clean look. I need that, too.

Think you could grow some plants on the driftwood? I figure the Geo's would tear up anything planted in the substrate, but how bout plants tied to the wood?

As for the light, they are two 30 watt flood lights off eBay and a 30 watt rgb flood light that I can change colors.

Yes they can probably handle low to medium light plants.

Small update after adding the Chocolate Cichlid x4, Bocourti x2, Pearsei and Silver Dollar x5 to make it a total of 11 with the tiger's:
