I heard this place has a really bad rep anyways. When I was trying to find a stingray, their website said they had em for like $75 and they were in colorado. ??? Now I think it says like California..
Nobody even wanted my free to good home blue eye pleco back when I had one boarded at my parents' house.
There was a pair for sale on the planetcatfish classifieds for 1500 or 800 each. Sweet fish but way out of my price range.
Back in the day they were known as the "poor man's royal pleco"... and ran about $20 for a 8"-er.
Interesting fish but certainly not worth hundreds or thousands (to me at least).
I view them as a perfect demonstration of how rarity makes a fish much more desirable in the hobby.
