Not trying to be a smartass about it. dont be so easily offended I'm giving you an answer to your question and asking it at the same time. It just so
happen that the tank that i purchsed came in 1'' thick acrylic and not like
as if i ordered it at 1". So next time you ask someone a question and give you an answer back dont be so quick to imply that a person is being an @ss. think about what your asking!

Why not is not an answer.

Eg, A: Why 1" acrylic for a 350g?
B: Because it was used as a display tank in hotel.
Or B: Because it was made to hold a display a huge rocks.
Or B: Because it was it is 40" high.
Or B: Because it was a display tank for a public aquarium.

You have the choice to answer someone how you want and if that is how you want to answer, then that is your prerogative.
