Thanks fellas. Cant wait for it to run its cycle...yeah I dunno who will be more excited me or my fish! Nitrites are slowly rising day by day so it shouldnt be too long. I say that...it might still be 2 weeks or more. Once the ammonia gets down around 1-2ppm im gonna spike it again back up to 5-6ppm and let it eat. When it can consume that much ammonia and nitrite in 24 hours I should have a hellacious bio base that my entire stock shouldnt be able to come close to overloading. Better to have too much than not enough

Hes really starting to come around. Its hard to get a shot but his anal fin spangling is starting to develop, and his body spangling is as well. Hes still a live only feeder but I dont mind. Im getting shiners for like .05 cents per so its not all that costly. 60 of them last a good week.

. Im by no means finished with this tank. I keep kicking myself in the *** though because I could have had a 120x36x25 for just a little more money. At the time I ordered it, 8ft was all I had room for but the tanks location changed before it arrived and the new spot could have handled the 120in. Oh well, when I get my next house I will just make sure it will have room for the 120x48x30 so I can have Tems and Pinima!
